If you’ve been following my online journey from the very start, firstly, I truly appreciate you and the support you’ve given me over the years.
Over the last six years, this website has gone through several transitions.
As you may know, I started Magnet4Blogging as a simple one-man blog operation to share my blogging tips, website tips, and digital marketing tips.
Up until now, a lot of the content published on the blog have been product spotlights and reviews, various website tutorials, WordPress hacks, marketing and social media tips, website conversion tips, and growth hacks, etc.
I’ve also used the blog to share my own personal thoughts, insights, knowledge, opinions, and experiences as a blogger and entrepreneur.
Around 4 years ago, I launched my web design services and Magnet 4 Blogging transformed from a simple blog into a freelancer / personal brand / digital media business.
We’re now in 2019, and after a lot of thought and consideration, and talks with my partner Samantha, I’ve decided to make some needful changes.
Here’s what’s going to happen:
I decided to move my website design and creative services, (graphic design, CRO services, video editing) to a brand new website.
Why the move?
The reason for this change is that I really wanted to streamline Magnet4Blogging and make it more aligned with the original goal that I had for the blog back in 2013 when I launched it – That goal is to provide practical blogging tips, online business tips, monetization strategies, WordPress hacks, and tutorials.
Web design-related content on Magnet4Blogging
If you have been reading my blog here for any length of time, you’ll know that a lot of the posts are related to website design and development. For the most part, I have moved most of these topic related posts to the new site.
In addition, I have now migrated my primary services information landing pages too.
Magnet4Blogging will go back to being a blog all about ‘blogging’ and ‘online business’ as I mentioned above.
This means that I will continue to write about blogging, WordPress, productivity tools, online business, etc. Just to remove any confusion.
The content will continue to be useful, and hopefully a lot more engaging than of recent times, with commenting re-enabled on new posts.
In addition, I will also continue to accept high-quality guest posts on Magnet4Blogging, but these will be more streamlined to new and specific categories and topics in the future.
After the process of transforming Magnet4Blogging back into the original blog that it was before, I do plan to redesign the homepage and various other parts of the site. The design phase is complete for the staging site as of 14th August and I’ll begin rolling the new design out the weekend commencing 17th August.
Among the planned items to come will be –
As you can imagine, this is not something that is going to take place overnight.
I’ve just started planning and strategizing for the new ‘web design site’ before moving on with the design and the migration of the services pages.
I also plan to document the entire process using video so that you can be part of the ‘decision-making process’ for my new website project.
Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to stay up to date.
My new web design and creative services website will launched on the 1st of April of this year. That is, of course, if everything goes to plan. (Update: Nope, nothing went to plan and the date is now the 8th of May or shortly before). While the newly redesigned Magnet4Blogging site will change over on the 1st of June of this year (Now 18th August).
So, that is all I have to reveal for now, and I do certainly hope you will continue following my journey and reading this blog and supporting me in the future.
Some new and exciting things are in the works right now, and I can’t wait to share more with you in the very near future.
For now, though, I want to take this opportunity, once again, to thank you for all the support you’ve given me with this website, including your business.
I truly appreciate you as I know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for your support.
Leave me a comment below if you’d like to ask me a question, over and out for now.
